The Evolution vs. Creationism debate is so tired. Neither side ever says anything new that we haven’t heard a million times already. Neither side ever truly “wins” the debate since facts can’t argue faith and vice versa. BOTH sides have holes and flaws in their way of thinking. Plus, I think the majority of people refuse to accept that you can believe in both a higher power AND evolution. A lot of well-known scientists past and present actually do. It doesn’t have to be so black and white.
At the end of the day, how could science explain the afterlife or the existence of spirits/ghosts/etc? They couldn’t and actually ignore any/all claims of paranormal activity as strictly anecdotal. If you believe in Evolution, you believe in spontaneous generation.
And yes, there is hypocrisy in the Bible. It was written by man, not God. Therefore, the Bible should be looked at as a book of morals not absolute law. Young Earth is probably the worst argument Creationists have and I get secondhand embarrassment when I hear it get brought up in these debates.
There’s no way EITHER side can be proven and there won’t ever be. Debating it just seems pointless to me.
